General Clan War Guide

War Strategy:

In clash of clans, wars can be rather difficult to win. Being a leader of a losing clan can be very difficult and frustrating. I have a few tips that I think might help some of you win a few wars, or at least help.

• make sure that you mail your clan around 6 hours before war day starts, tell them to leave if they will be unable to participate in the upcoming war, that way there are no good excuses for people not participating.
• be strict, stick with the rules you set in place for wars as well as deal out the proper punishments, your clan mates will respect you more for it. When I say punishments I mean a demote, or a boot for someone not attacking.
• Kick people who use purely archers and barbarians, this is not going to help your clan win a war at all.
• make sure everyone knows it is not okay to townhall snipe in a war, and make sure they know what the punishment is.
• there is always a certain point when you know that it is impossible for you to win, let your clan mates know that they still must use both of their attacks in the war or the punishment will still be received. This is because they will not improve if they are not attacking.
• sometimes it is okay to give someone permission to townhall snipe, for example some of your clan mates attacked too low and there is no one available for that person to attack, or you are getting destroyed by their clan in which case you could mail your whole clan and tell them it is okay to townhall snipe. Remember to always do what is best for your clan members, whatever will get them the most possible loot.
• Make sure that your clan mates are all attacking with a full clan castle, this can be the difference between a one star attack and a three star attack. you can even enforce punishments on this if you really feel it is necessary.
•  Make sure to watch the replays of new members as well as existing members of your clan to make sure they are following your rules, and that they aren't just townhall sniping for the loot. by watching replays you can also point out places for them to improve, and what they did right as well.
• Make sure that both you and your clan mates are taking full advantage of prep day, calling your target, planning your attacks but most of all make sure that everyone has a full clan castle.
• If you have an extremely active clan it is always a good idea to get everyone attacking early in the war, if you can get a huge lead early then the other clan might give up and then everyone can hit for loot
