If it is a troop event, you should try and change up your army composition, even if you are only including just a few of that particular troop in your army comp. Clash of Clans is a game that attempts to make all troops as even as possible so that users can pick any troops that they want and win a battle with anything that they bring, so long as they have a proper strategy in place. Each troop has their own duties and it is important to know what that duty is in order to be able to decide which troop you should replace in your regular army composition in order to have it still work successfully for you.

Generally speaking you should be able to narrow your troops down into two main categories. One being air attacks and the other being ground. After this, it gets a little more complicated and then it can be narrowed down into which troops have very little hit points and which troops have a substantial amount of hit points.

For each troop, you will need to take into account both the space that they take up within your army comp as well as what they normally do within your strategy. For example: If you like to use golems as your meat shields, and you have an archer event in place; it doesn't make sense that you switch your golem's for archers in order to be able to win a battle. Instead, consider which troops you use to clean up after your initial hit. Think things like minions, barbarians, wizards, valks, witches, goblins, bowlers and even baby dragons. These are the types of troops that you should be switching out in your army comp in exchange for each other as they all have a similar purpose within a battle.

There are a few troops that are capable of multi-purpose use. Valkyries have a lot of HP considering their troop capacity and you shouldn't be affected too much if you decide to switch them out in exchange for meat shield troops, or your clean up crew. It really depends on the strategy that you are using at any given time; always make sure that you have all of your attack components covered.

You are going to want to have troops that can block damage from your clean up troops, troops that can cleanup, and you are going to want some heavy hitters to do some damage right off of the bat as well. It is always a good idea to make sure that you pay attention to the weaknesses that are in the majority of your army comp so that you can choose the correct spells to use. If you have a army comp that has a ton of HP, but not a lot of clean up you are going to want to choose spells that allow you to hit fast and hard. If you are facing high level townhalls you may also want to include a freeze spell so that a single target inferno doesn't do something like take out your queen, forcing you to use her ability too early. If you have an army with a low amount of HP you may want to consider some healers or some heal spells in order to keep everything alive as long as possible.

Just remember that each and every event it can take some trial and error in order to find an army composition that works for you. The elixir savings whether it is DE, or just regular elixir, are well worth the extra time that it will take you to get used to using the army comp. Best of luck in your attacks!Braydenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09537898359789461924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1527623952268767643.post-67662225146463634602016-06-15T12:22:00.002-07:002016-06-15T12:22:34.280-07:00Are Wallbreakers Still Useful? After the introduction of the earthquake spell, this was the first time when I questioned the usefullness of wallbreakers. But now with the introduction of the clone spell, as well as the introduction of the miner, the baby dragon and the one troop that made me question wallbreakers the most: the bowler. I am not so sure that wallbreakers are worth the 2 space in your army composition anymore. Seeming as you can bring 1 bowler for only 3 wallbreakers and he can destroy whatever is behind the wall so that your pekkas, your heroes etc. Aren't even getting attacked as they break down the wall (assuming you have fairly high level to max troops). It definitely is iffy.

Wallbreakers have been apart of the game for ages, the only problem I have with them is that once they do their job (blowing up a wall) then they are useless because they just blow up. No other troop commits suicide in order do to damage. The only thing that really supports the use of WB is the fact that no other troop worth 2 space is good enough to break down a wall. But if you bring large enough troops they are more than capable of not only taking out a wall, or flying over one, but taking out other defenses as well.

Another reason WB aren't very useful is the fact that if you are bringing an air raid they are completely useless. Your heroes are more than capable of breaking into the base on their own. Especially once you clear the way for them with your air army, then they can have a clear path straight to the townhall. Not to mention the fact you could always bring a jump spell should you want to use a ground army, or you could even bring 4 quakes. Each of these being much more useful than a wallbreaker and opening up much more opportunity for your troops. What is your guys opinion on WB? Do you think you really need them? Why? This attack is a great but expensive way elixir wise to get 2 or 3 stars on enemy bases. It is often used to push trophies, to load up on dark elixir, or at the point when you run out of elixir upgrades at th8. The question everyone wants to know the answer to is: how do you do a proper dragon attack?

Well first of all if you are scrolling through bases, look at the AD level and the position of the AD's as well as how much loot the base has. If the AD's are in a vulnerable position, maybe you can take one out with your heroes. If you are a th9 you could try bringing 2 lightning spells and a quake to take out one of the air defenses as well and then bring a rage and a heal or whatever you like for your other two spells. If you are a th8 it is quite tough to take out another th8 with max lvl 6 AD's. Look for a vulnerable spot, place a drag on either side of it and make a funnel with the clearest path headed straight towards the townhall and then place the remainder of your dragons. As they approach the townhall this is when you should rage your dragons and depending how much of a pounding they are taking, you may want to heal them as well.

If you are a th9 trying to do a dragon attack I highly recommend looking for 1 or 2 vulnerable AD's that your queen and king together can take out. If you can use the lightning quake strategy, combined with your heroes to take out another AD then you stand a good chance of a 3 star attack as long as you have level 4 dragons and funnel them in properly. Drags are fairly unpredictable troops and it takes a lot of practice to get good at attacking with them. Keep that in mind when you are doing your raids! Let me know in the comments below if you have any other ideas with regards to dragon raids!👊

Resulting in literally millions of different army compositions and strategies. Is it possible that you use one troop more than all the others, do you have a favourite troop? After carefully reviewing my attack log I realized, not only do I have a favourite troop, but it is almost always the most essential part of my armies. This troop for me is none other than the pekka.

I used to use a lot of lavaloonian, balloonian and even dragon attacks. But due to myself getting into the higher leagues and well into th10, I basically only use ground strategies at this point because they are a lot easier to control and there are many different ground army compositions that you can play around with. When I looked at my ground strategies I came to realize that the only troop that really carried over into most of my ground armies was the pekka. I use them when I do queen walks, I use them when I do gowipe. I use them when I use my OP war army comp and I even donate pekka's all the time because I know max pekkas make a huge difference if you don't have them unlocked. What is your favourite troop? What kinds of armies do you use it in? Let me know in the comments below! 👊Braydenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09537898359789461924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1527623952268767643.post-12937439315896765782016-06-11T09:20:00.002-07:002016-06-11T09:20:48.427-07:00Do bowlers need to be nerfed???Lately I have seen a ton of new 3 star bowler raids, in a recent update Clash of Clans reduced the bowler space from 8 space to 6 space. This change helped the bowler get into the armies of many clashers around the globe. However, this has made for a lot of 3 star attacks. In fact; I think it is the easiest it has ever been to 3 star bases with the new valk and bowler levels. Some people are arguing that a nerf is needed, I disagree and here is why:

Clash of Clans has made it increasingly easier to gain trophies, because they want there to be a lot of competition at the 5000 trophy range. Increasing the loot bonus at all the leagues, making troop training times extraordinarily faster and adding the new troops into the game has made Clashers a lot less frustrated. It is easier than ever to save loot, push trophies and train and attack with big armies. I believe these changes have vastly improved the "fun" aspect of the game and I am quite happy actually being able to get some 3 star raids in. And I am sure I am not the only person who thinks this way, let me know in the comments below what you think! 👊Braydenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09537898359789461924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1527623952268767643.post-89550173588990519782016-06-10T22:13:00.002-07:002016-06-10T22:13:41.880-07:00Are healers useless or a hidden gem??If you talk to most people in global chat, most of them won't be able to tell you the last time they tried using healers in their regular army compostion. Let alone that they are actually a good troop in the game; unless you are doing queen walks. So I have decided to pose the question: are healers a useless troop or are they a hidden gem in the game that we aren't taking advantage of?

With the addition of the clone spell, the miner, the baby dragon, the skeleton spell, and the older but still recent bowler. It leaves a lot of new army compositions and options for healers. The question is: is the healer really worth the 14 space when you can bring 2 bowlers and a minion. Or a valk and a bowler instead? For that to be true you would have to place the healer well out of the way of defenses because otherwise she would be down and out before she had the chance to be worth her spot in the army composition. So if you are going to try using a healer make sure you throw it as far back from air defenses as possible so that you get the full use out of it.

One thing I haven't tried yet is a composition where I clone the healer in order to make my troops survive longer. Normally I would just bring a heal spell instead but I definitely want to bring a healer and a clone spell and see how comparable the healing is. One important thing for healers is try and make sure that your healer locks onto some of your bigger units eg: a pekka, your heroes, or even a golem or valk. If your healer locks onto smaller units they may be dead in one shot or two regardless of your healers efforts, making your healer useless. Let me know in the comments below if you guys have found a good use for the healer!👊Braydenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09537898359789461924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1527623952268767643.post-74778175922061166702016-06-10T10:12:00.001-07:002016-06-10T10:12:47.527-07:00Can you still use a farming base???I decided to pose the question of whether a farming base is still a base that someone could successfully use. When you put on a farming base you would think that the real problem would be that you lose a portion of your loot that is in your storages. The thing is, that isn't really the problem. The problem lies in the fact that when you get attacked you only get a half hour shield unless someone gets 50% on your base. This makes a farming base pointless for 95% of the clash community. But I am here to tell you that we could all actually use one sometimes.

The key to the proper use of a farming base with the new system is that you can only go offline for a half hour to an hour at the most. About the time that it takes with the new training times to train a full army. So if you just train your whole army, start cooking your spells, talk to you clan mates for a few minutes and request for troops. You will be approaching the half hour mark when your troops are ready for battle. What this means is that: If you are high enough in trophies, have a lot of loot available and you are going to be playing clash within a half hour to 45 minutes, you might actually lose less loot overall by putting a famring base on. Just make sure you switch back to your trophy base when you are going off for an extended period of time, otherwise be prepared to have lost a ton of loot. Let me know in the comments below if you guys know of any other uses for farming bases, or what your experience has been with them! 👊Braydenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09537898359789461924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1527623952268767643.post-66844593383638208282016-06-10T09:57:00.000-07:002016-06-10T09:57:47.681-07:00Clash Royale or Clash of Clans???Clash Royale has been out for quite a while now and it is still picking up momentum. It is listed in the top 5 grossing apps on the appstore and is making Supercell millions of dollars. Clash of Clans has been out for years and it has been argued that it is on a downfall and is slowly losing its player base. However, it is still grossing Supercell millions and is played by millions around the world. The question I am posing is: which game is better?

As for the mechanics of the 2 games both are very interactive, they both now have friendly clan battles, interactive attacking, and a large variety of troops and armies that you can attack with. Overall Clash of Clans currently has more options. For example: Clan Wars, goblin player map, and the ability to setup both a war base and main base for defense. Therefore it is safe to say that currently Clash of Clans has more hours worth of gameplay available. However, Clash Royale is just getting started. If it ends up lasting as long as Clash of Clans maybe we will see some sort of goblin map implemented and some kind of war. This would make the 2 games very comparable. They already consist of very similar troops and strategy. Which game style do I prefer you might ask? I prefer Clash of Clans. Only becuase I prefer to see my progress clearly in front of me, which I can see when I upgrade my base and I can't really see when I am just upgrading cards and going higher and higher in trophies.

It is definitely a debate over which game will take over the market. Will Clash Royale overtake Clash of Clans and eventually push itself to the top of the market? Or will Clash of Clans continue to prosper and retain it's loyal fanbase? Let me know what you think in the comments below!👊Braydenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09537898359789461924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1527623952268767643.post-6498676364110618592016-06-10T09:30:00.002-07:002016-06-10T09:30:48.374-07:00Is Barch dead???Recently clash of clans implemented the new training times as well as 2 new troops; those being the baby dragon and the miner. With the new training times it is possible to train a full on lavaloonian or gowipe army in a similar amount of time that it takes to train a barch army composition. Does this make barch an irrelevant useless army comp?

That all depends on what it is you are doing. If you are boosting your barracks and you don't mind losing trophies and/or not using a full army. Barch is still great for you. However if you want to keep at your current trophy level, using a larger more expensive army composition will make that a lot easier for you. Not to mention you can take on stronger bases than you can if you just brought a barch army comp. It is really up to preference but if you haven't stopped barching yet I highly suggest you give it a try. I gave it a shot soon after the big training time reduction drop and I haven't gone back since.

Also remember that clash implemented the 5 star loot bonus system. This is a lot easier to achieve if you are bringing a full on army composition so you have to take that extra loot into account. Is it really worth a few less minutes of training when you may have to do 3 plus extra attacks just to get that bonus loot when you can get that bonus loot in only 2 attacks with a full on army. Let me know what you think in the comments below!👊Braydenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09537898359789461924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1527623952268767643.post-81126360823669358482016-06-10T09:07:00.000-07:002016-06-10T09:07:02.649-07:00How to push trophies like a champIn today's clash, you will hardly ever see a th snipe. The old way of pushing trophies is all but lost. Some may argue that they never took advantage of the th snipes when they were highly available, but if they didn't then that would just be stupid of them. Now adays you have to work a lot harder to push trophies. There are a few things that you should focus on and these things will help you a lot in your trophy pushing quest.

Clan castle: make sure you are in a good clan! This is essential to your pushing as well as your defense. If your clan mates aren't providing you with quality clan castle troops, not only are you going to lose more defenses, but your attacks are going to be weaker because you won't have as strong of an army comp!

Your base: make sure you have a solid base setup before you start your push. Try and center your townhall as much as possible and make sure the majority of your defenses aren't in the process of upgrading or you are bound to lose a lot of defenses once you start getting higher in trophies. If at all possible try and make sure you have all your traps, bows and infernos armed and ready for action to help out your defensive push.

Your loot: although you may think that having a ton of loot is of huge benefit to you, it isn't when you are trophy pushing! People will specifically try and attack your base instead of someone else's if you have more loot! Try dumping your loot into walls or traps in order to keep looters away as much as possible. One key thing to note is; make sure you don't blow all your loot on walls and traps. You can spend a lot of gold nexting on bases and finding nothing. It would be devastating to be 10 trophies away from champions league only to run out of gold and not be able to make it!

Hope this post helped remind you guys about some of the important factors in regards to trophy pushing. Best of luck with your push! Let me know how far you guys get in the comments below. 👊Braydenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09537898359789461924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1527623952268767643.post-29851521048432989022016-06-10T08:37:00.001-07:002016-06-10T09:08:17.494-07:00Th10 New SUPER OP strategy?!?!?

I started messing around with my Gowipe army composition and came across something huge. This strategy has yet to not 3 star a th9 (I am a th10) and in case you don't know. I don't even have all my troops fully upgraded yet, my bowlers are only at level 1! And yet this strategy has 3 starred 3 almost max th9 bases in a row(other than walls they were basically max). If you guys want to try out something new, this definitely should be a priority.

As for what the army comp is: it consists of 2 golems, 5 valks, 6 bowlers, 3 archers, 3 wallbreakers, and 3 pekkas. In the clan castle I have been taking a pekka and 2 giants as well as a quake. For my own spells I have been taking 2 rage and 2 heals as well as 3 quakes. I am currently working on upgrading my clone spell so I might try that later on and let you guys know how it goes.

Alright guys so lets get into the attack: first of all; you want to use up your quakes. Use all 4 at once and take out the section that opens up the base the most and is closest to the strongest defenses as well as the townhall (this is key). Next spread out your 2 golems fairly wide a good 3 or so buildings apart. Throw in the 5 of your wiz spread out behind your golems in order to be able to funnel your pekkas in. Now you can throw in your bowlers, again spread these out behind your golems. Next quickly get your pekkas in and drop your clan castle. You can throw in a rage spell at this point. It will likely be fine even if one or 2 of your pekkas run around the outside. Throw in your BK followed by your archer queen. This is all done in fairly rapid succession. Then heal up your troops. Once your troops get closer to the townhall, throw in your second rage spell and watch as the townhall gets destroyed. Wait a few seconds and drop your last heal spell. Now instead of watching your troops destroy the remainder of the base, use your remaining 3 archers to take out corner buildings or any buildings your main army missed on the way through.

Let me know in the comments how this strategy worked for you guys. ï‘Š

Everyone was using Gowipe armies, Lavaloonian, Balloonian, Drags, or Barch. Recently, clash of clans not only released 2 new troops: those being the miner and the baby dragon. But, they also improved the Valkyrie. New strategies have started to develop with the new upgraded valkyrie troop. I have seen multiple successful half Gowipe armies consisting of 6-8 valks, in fact I am starting to believe that adding valks to the old Gowipe army composition makes the army actually better. Before valks got upgraded generally people were bringing 10 plus wizards, these would get bunched up and die from giant bombs, mortar strikes etc. From what I have seen recently people have dropped to using 6-8 wizards and added bowlers, and/or valks to their old army compositions.

It will be very interesting to see how the miner and baby dragon evolve into the regular army compositions. If you haven't tried out valks or bowlers in your composition yet I suggest you give it a shot. The new valkyrie has also proved to be an astoundingly good new defensive troop so be sure to try them out in your war clan castles at some point as well...Even though I strongly suggest filling clan castles with barch because no one does that anymore, and no one is expecting it. But best of luck with the new troops. Let me know what kinds of army compositions you guys are trying out in the comments below.Braydenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09537898359789461924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1527623952268767643.post-87095983921006093992015-12-29T08:33:00.000-08:002015-12-29T08:33:38.803-08:00How To Farm Post Th11 UpdateAlthough th snipes are slowly becoming a thing of the past, farming (or a new version of farming) is still a big part of Clash of Clans. In order to be a successful farmer post update you need to be able to attack bases with loot in storages. Collector bases are becoming rarer by the day and the days of hitting dead bases for 400k loot every 5 minutes seems to be a thing of the past.

New strategies for farming often take longer to train than the average barch army. Just remember that Supercell lowered boosting time to 1 hour and therefore if you want to raid faster for a bit it won't take up 2 hours of your day and cost you a bunch of gems. Below are a few strategies I have seen as successful post update:

Gowbarb: This strategy includes Goblins, Wallbreakers and Barbarians. In order to be successful using this strategy you need to spam barbarians at the wall in order to distract enemy fire. Throw in wb to break through the walls quickly followed by a few more barbarians if the other ones are gone. Then spam goblins to hit the storages inside.

Healer & AQ Strat: This strategy involves using healers to protect your AQ while she shreds the base. A higher level AQ will work better. Supercell recently made this strategy less effective however it is still a very good strategy.

Loonian: This strategy involves the use of Balloons and minions, balloons are sent in first to distract and take out some of the enemy defenses while you spam minions in behind for clean up of other buildings. This strategy is a very effective pushing strategy that can also be used for farming.

Post update heroes have become more important than ever when raiding. They will help you break down the walls and get you to the storages where the majority of loot in Clash of Clans now lies. Remember to use them carefully, if you have good placement of the AQ and BK they can often take down a storage in the middle of the base on their own. All the best in your raiding.
We learned that townhall snipes are no longer going to provide shields. With that it means that a farming base no longer has the same purpose it used to. Another section of the update release stated that in order for the defender to receive a shield the attacker would have to deploy at least 50% of their army composition and get at least 30% on the base they are attacking.

This means that in order to keep farming the way it is, you are going to have to be spamming a lot of barbarians in order to give the guy your attacking a shield. If Clash Of Clans keeps the star system the same as it is, this means that when you go off and you leave your townhall in the corner you could potentially lose literally all your trophies all the way down to 0. Due to the fact that people can snipe you over and over again and steal all your trophies. The only way you would get a shield is when someone performs a mini attack on your base and deploys at least half the troops that they can hold in their army camps. No free shields will be given in Clash of Clans anymore and expect that you will have more loot stolen from your base than normal.

Pay close attention to what the next sneak peeks are because if they do not change the trophy system, all the farmers will be dropping to bronze or lower soon after the update drops. This could mean for an insane chance to load up on loot if you are lucky enough to be one of the first farmers to drop. HOWEVER, depending on what they do with the star system in the update they could make it that the star system makes it extremely difficult to push trophies and you might be stuck in the low leagues for a long time.

I currently do not see this shield system making any sense at all, however it will all depend on the star system and matchmaking system Clash puts into place. I have heard rumors that league bonus will be more closely related to player level, which would be a great addition to the game in my opinion. I think that now is probably a great time to start pushing trophies due to the fact that townhall snipes are going to really start declining over the next 2 weeks. Personally I will be leaving my Townhall outside until well after the update drops so I can share the affects of trying a farming base after the new update.
If you would like to watch a video on the first sneak peek in the update here is a link to my channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJfAfzLP6foBraydenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09537898359789461924noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1527623952268767643.post-8257129024439599722015-11-01T14:33:00.004-08:002015-11-05T13:29:01.956-08:00Obstacles In Clash of Clans, you may not realize it but the obstacles that pop up around your base are very important assets to your progress in the game. Removing the obstacles often provides you with gems which you can save up in order to buy all the builder huts that you need. And if you already have all the huts, you can gem barracks and troops as you need them which is extremely helpful when the clan war is running out of time, or the loot is plentiful in raids.

Obstacles no longer have a use in Clash of Clans defenses, it used to be that attackers could not place their troops on top of obstacles in the opponents base, therefore they were great for funneling troops and getting people to place troops exactly where you want them to. HOWEVER, obstacles are not as useless as you might think. If you leave the skeleton tombstones that pop up around your base when troops die then you can catch opponents completely off-guard with bombs, traps etc. You can even change your base around in order to get tombs in specific spots so it looks like a big bomb is blown up on a particular side of your base, thus tempting the opponent to attack from that side and giving you a huge advantage on defense.

As tempting as it may be to collect the tiny bit of loot that you get from the tombstones that appear in your village, I highly recommend that instead you use these to your own strategic advantage. Obviously once your base is full of tombs you'll have to gather them up, but when there is only a couple sitting there doing nothing and going nowhere you should try and use them to your advantage.

A lot of people also choose to keep the seasonal obstacles because Clash of Clans changes them every year and it proves how long you have been playing the game. This is a personal choice (I have my Christmas trees from last year) but I am just saying...free loot is free loot, plus there will be more random obstacles for years to come.Braydenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09537898359789461924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1527623952268767643.post-74715698941044900842015-11-01T12:43:00.001-08:002015-11-05T13:29:20.974-08:00Rushing your Townhall

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">Rushing your Townhall: There are 2 different kinds of players in Clash of Clans, those that rushed their Townhall's and those that maxed them out. There are a variety of reasons that can push you to rush your townhall and some of them are more reasonable than others. The main positives and negatives are listed below to help you guys make a better decision for yourselves.

boss....not really, but you do get a bigger base

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: medium;">you can research higher leveled
troops to attack

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">You can send better reinforcements to your clan mates

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">you can upgrade your clan

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">Negatives:

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">Rushing your townhall makes
for a lot of catch up time, other people who did not rush their townhall
will most definitely pass you, in other words their base will be better
than yours very soon.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">The loot penalty: when you
upgrade your townhall there is a loot penalty. When you attack people with
a lower townhall than you, you wont get as much loot from them then you
would if you did not rush your townhall.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">Rushing your townhall makes
it more difficult for your clan to win wars for the following reasons:
your troops are lower level, your war base ranks higher automatically so
you face harder opponents, it is easier to 3 star a rushed base than a
maxed base

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">The cost of searching for an opponent rises for every Townhall level that you go up

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">people will most likely make
fun of your base in global if you are badly rushed, trust me I see it all the time

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 107%;">Conclusion: there are
benefits to both sides but I believe the best way to do it is max out your
defenses and walls as much as possible before running out of things to spend elixir on (TH8 and sometimes TH7) and then level up. When I say max out I do not mean max your heroes. The higher level your Townhall is, the easier it is to get dark elixir in raids because you can sit in higher leagues and farm while getting DE bonus. Braydenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09537898359789461924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1527623952268767643.post-2046358515968206092015-10-31T12:09:00.001-07:002015-11-05T13:51:44.488-08:00Expert tips and tricksThere are a few tips and tricks that are relatively unheard of, or maybe I am the only one who knows some of these.....Either way here are some tips and tricks for you guys that will surely improve your raiding skills, your recruiting skills, and your overall knowledge of Clash of Clans. I will be making videos explaining each of these tips and tricks thoroughly so that there aren't any misunderstandings. I will not be releasing the 2nd Elixir and Dark Elixir trick until a later date when more interest arises.

The elixir tricks: There are 2 tricks in the game that I am aware of that provide you with some free elixir. Both tricks are something I learned a long time ago and can actually save you a huge amount of elixir over time. I still see people all the time who are completely unaware of these tricks. The first trick is the least used because you can only do it a few times per townhall level. When you are upgrading a troop the cost of buying one of those troops increases once the upgrade is completed. So right before the upgrade is finished, load up all your barracks with the troop that is upgrading and as soon as the upgrade finishes then delete all the troops for free elixir.

The Dark Elixir Trick: There are also 2 Dark Elixir tricks in the game that provide you with some free Dark Elixir. The first Dark Elixir trick is the same as the elixir trick, when you are upgrading a troop the cost of buying one of those troops increases once the upgrade is completed. So right before the upgrade is finished, load up all your barracks with the troop that is upgrading and as soon as the upgrade finishes then delete all the troops for free dark elixir.

Goblin Mission Tip: Remember that Goblin missions have unlimited time to complete, no timer is started when you start attacking their huts. The best way to go back and raid the goblin missions (remember Supercell added more loot to them) is to use your heroes or your clan castle. This way you have no investment into your troops and you are getting the loot for free.

Raiding trick: I use this trick all the time and I think hardly anyone knows about it. So I am going to name it the Burn N Run strategy. In order to do the Burn N Run strategy you can be doing any type of attack, whether it be goblins, a war attack, a raid etc, What you have to do is: Find a townhall or the loot that you want and place all the troops you want to use. Then go off the Clash of Clans app, swipe the app closed and log back on. The rest of the raid you just left will have simulated and you just saved yourself a minute or 2 of watching the same old archers hitting the collectors, This Strategy can be repeated as many times as you want. Just remember to place all the troops you want before exiting the app, otherwise you will likely return to a lost attack or a result you weren't expecting.
However there are some major advantages to having a defenseless account. My YouTube channel does have a video up explaining some of the advantages of having a defenseless account, but this post will go further into detail. Here is the link to the video if you want a quick run down of a defenseless account. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLFtCwva6nw The reason why a lot of people make defenseless accounts is likely not what you think. It is not for the extra challenge or bragging rights, it is to help the clan be more successful at wars.

A defenseless account is difficult to maintain, when you play on it you have to make sure that you raid more than what you will lose when you log off. In other words it isn't always worth breaking your shield. You have to remember that in order to maintain a defenseless account you either have to play on it a ton in order to get to a decent trophy level where you can get loot, or max out your collectors, boost them up and wait a really long time until you finally have enough loot to do the upgrades that you want to do.

One of the most difficult challenges of having a defenseless account is definitely the amount of raids you have to do in order to get dark elixir. Not only do you have to push high in trophies without relying on any defenses, you also have to remember that every time you log off; someone is going to steal 100% of whatever it let's them take from your dark elixir storage and drills. Meaning once you start getting to the larger dark elixir upgrades it makes it almost impossible to save up enough dark elixir to get them.

The major advantage for having a defenseless account is wars. In a war even though you may be a townhall 10 with maxed out troops, you will likely have one of, if not the worst base in the clan and therefore you can attack much higher than your rank. At this point in time you don't see a ton of defenseless accounts around but I think as people start to realize the power and the major advantage of having one of these accounts, they will become more common.Braydenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09537898359789461924noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1527623952268767643.post-24805354799900549962015-10-30T10:19:00.002-07:002015-11-05T13:33:58.868-08:00Townhall 11Recently Clash of Clans released a new picture of the soon to be released townhall 11 and new defense. Townhall 11 is going to be a huge deal for Clash of Clans for a lot of reasons. There are more and more max townhall 10's all the time, the addition of a new townhall level will bring in tons of revenue for Supercell as it will bring back a lot of the people who grew bored of the endless townhall 10 grind. Townhall 11 will bring with it a new hero which is very exciting news for everyone in the clash community especially since the hero costs elixir to build. If the hero can be leveled up it should make for a lot of max heroes in a very short period of time.

The new defense looks super powerful against tank troops with lot's of health, a recent video released showed the new townhall 11 defense killing a level 40 Archer queen within only a few strikes. It did the same to a couple max golem's that someone was using in the raid. The addition of townhall 11 will make it more difficult for a new townhall 9 to war as a th11 will very likely be able to 3 star a townhall 9 with ease, just like how a townhall 10 can easily 3 star townhall 8's and how a townhall 9 can easily 3 star th7's.

The addition of townhall 11 will eventually bring on the addition of new troop lvl's such as the already hinted at lvl 8 Barbarians and archers. Other troops like hog riders, witches and healers will most likely get an update due to the fact the levels for those troops haven't changed in a long time. Th11 will bring something that is going to effect everyone as well, the map size will have to change in order to accommodate the new defenses and heroes. Therefore bringing new strategy to all the townhall levels as we can have more strategic layouts and hopefully get 3 starred less times due to the dreaded 3 minute timer running out.

Townhall 11 will bring the Clash community closer than ever before, we haven't had a big update since we got clan perks and everyone is looking forward to new content and competition. With the fairly new addition of legend league, the push to become the number 1 player in the world will be more difficult than ever before. We can only hope that Supercell continues to bring out more awesome content and that we will all get to play this game for years to come.Braydenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09537898359789461924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1527623952268767643.post-21284538137484501982015-10-30T09:25:00.002-07:002015-11-05T13:35:44.514-08:00Beginners Guide If you are reading this guide before or during when you first start playing Clash of Clans, you have come to the right place. This guide will give you a general overview of how to play the game as well as some do's and don'ts of building your base as well as attacking. This guide will also teach you how to get an advantage and a head start that you crave on players that start at the same time that you do.

First of all, don't bother chatting on global if your just getting started, believe me you will have plenty of interesting conversations on there in the future if you decide to keep playing. There's a lot you can do at the start of the game and the tutorial makes it seem as though you are going to be attacked by goblins on a regular basis and that is just simply not going to happen.

When you first start off you will not have many resources, and your village will be crowded with many bushes and trees. Do not be alarmed, you will get rid of these soon enough. Go through the tutorial as fast as possible, you don't need to use all your wizards on the goblin map that it makes you attack at the start, three wizards will do the job just fine.

Clash of Clans seems like a very simple game to play, all you do is hit the attack button, deploy troops, get loot, and use then use the loot to upgrade your defenses and walls. It ends up becoming a lot more complicated than that. I am going to go through a step by step system that I am sure will give you an edge on every new player to the game, even someone who puts down three hundred dollars in upgrades can be easily passed. They may not know how to use gems properly, if you are looking to spend money on clash of clans make sure you take a look at my gemming guide.

Okay so the first thing you want to try and do is get all of the defenses and walls built. (depending on if you are making a defenseless base, you may not want to build defenses) next, get the ruined clan castle up and running again. It will become your most valuable asset for a little while. Get in a good clan right away, don't plan on staying in this clan. Simply look for a clan that has some really good players that will give you great clan castle troops. Once your in the clan make sure you talk a little bit and then request away.

The first thing you should do to your base is make a farming base, put your townhall in the corner and surround your gold and elixir storage's with walls and defenses. having a good base setup is not very important at this stage of the game. Start training troops and upgrading your army camps as soon as possible. Push trophies as hard as you can, this means attack everyone you see that has a vulnerable townhall. You want to upgrade to get archers as soon as possible. Once you have archers continue to push trophies, the higher you go the more loot you will find and you will be able to upgrade your base super fast. Make sure that you upgrade your storage's as fast as possible so that you can hold all the loot you will be getting. It is not a bad idea to rush your townhall if you find you are maxing out your storage's too fast at maximum capacity. However do not go past townhall 6 without maxing your base and troops. Goblins are not essential to max, same with healers as you will not use these later in the game. You are better off using these resources to upgrade other troops.

As you are going up through the townhall levels, pay very close attention to the achievements section and try to get as many as you can as quick as possible. If you choose to spend money early in the game MAKE SURE YOU BUY ALL YOUR BUILDER HUTS BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE. This is because builders are the most essential part to your progression and if you are an active enough player you will spend a lot of time waiting around for builder's in order to get another upgrade going. As you progress further in townhall levels you may decide you want to try a clan war, look for vulnerable townhall's and bases you can easily 2 star. The higher you can hit, the more loot you will make. But remember if you fail your attacks then you won't get any loot regardless of if you won or lost the war.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">War Strategy:<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">In clash of clans, wars can be rather difficult to win. Being a leader
of a losing clan can be very difficult and frustrating. I have a few tips that
I think might help some of you win a few wars, or at least help.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">make sure that you mail your
clan around 6 hours before war day starts, tell them to leave if they will
be unable to participate in the upcoming war, that way there are no good
excuses for people not participating.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">be strict, stick with the
rules you set in place for wars as well as deal out the proper
punishments, your clan mates will respect you more for it. When I say
punishments I mean a demote, or a boot for someone not attacking.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">Kick people who use purely
archers and barbarians, this is not going to help your clan win a war at
all.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">make sure everyone knows it
is not okay to townhall snipe in a war, and make sure they know what the
punishment is.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">there is always a certain
point when you know that it is impossible for you to win, let your clan
mates know that they still must use both of their attacks in the war or
the punishment will still be received. This is because they will not improve
if they are not attacking.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">sometimes it is okay to give
someone permission to townhall snipe, for example some of your clan mates
attacked too low and there is no one available for that person to attack,
or you are getting destroyed by their clan in which case you could mail
your whole clan and tell them it is okay to townhall snipe. Remember to
always do what is best for your clan members, whatever will get them the
most possible loot.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">Make sure that your clan
mates are all attacking with a full clan castle, this can be the
difference between a one star attack and a three star attack. you can even
enforce punishments on this if you really feel it is necessary.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;"> Make sure to watch the
replays of new members as well as existing members of your clan to make
sure they are following your rules, and that they aren't just townhall
sniping for the loot. by watching replays you can also point out places for them to improve, and what they did right as well.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">Make sure that both you and your clan mates are taking full advantage of prep day, calling your target, planning your attacks but most of all make sure that everyone has a full clan castle.

If you have an extremely active clan it is always a good idea to get everyone attacking early in the war, if you can get a huge lead early then the other clan might give up and then everyone can hit for loot

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">Why a farming base: <span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">a farming base is good because you will
get attacked very soon after your shield runs out. You will then get a free
shield in exchange for a few trophies. Most of the time unless you attacked the
other guy first, you can even revenge attack him for your trophies back. With a
farming base you will lose way less loot to opponents.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">Why a trophy Base: <span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">The only time I suggest you make a trophy
base is if you think your base is strong enough to successfully defend against
another person when they bring their best troops. Either that or if you are
broke then its a good time to have a trophy base because it is likely that no one will attack
you. With the new base saving system brought to you by Supercell I suggest that you make at least one of each and then a war base. It is a common misconception to have a trophy base early on in the game. I had a trophy base for a very long time and I only wish that someone told me to have a farming base earlier because following this tip alone, if you do it early enough in the game, it will save
you millions and millions of both elixir and gold over time.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">Base Setups:

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">One of the best tips I can give to both new and experienced clashers is
make sure that you are placing the majority of your giant bombs and some of
your seeking air mines within your walls. It will make a huge difference on
your defenses when someone brings a full army to attack you. Another thing that
is extremely important (especially for your war base) is centering your clan
castle. If you center your clan castle your opponent will have a much tougher
time defeating your base simply because it is way harder to get the troops out,
and if you can get them to place their whole army before the clan castle troops
come out, you stand a good chance of doing well on your defense. Always
remember that it is pointless to layer your walls because hog riders and wall
breakers can easily get past them, or the Archer Queen can shoot over them, When
designing the placement of buildings for your base, always try and think of how
you would attack your base with different army compositions. The more thought
you put into it, the better it will likely be. Be sure to ask your clan mates
and you can even do a global chat check to see what the world thinks of you. If possible try to keep buildings like barracks, builder huts, spell factory, and research lab outside your walls. Keeping these buildings outside your walls makes it so that your defenses can be walled in better and it will take opponents longer to get in due to the buildings you put around them.

Depending on your Clash Of Clans experience you may already be a very good farmer. The tips I am going to share in this post are for beginner farmers, but I will also include some information that I think will help out experienced clashers as well.

How to farm: In order to find a successful league to farm in, you have to take several factors into consideration. These factors include, what is the average number of attacks I do in a season, what is my troop composition for farming, what are the requirements for my clan, and how good do you honestly think you are at attacking. I will go through the factors below and then you will be able to make an informed decision of what league you should farm in.

Average number of attacks per season:

Extremely active attacker: this is one of the most important factors for determining your league. If you are an extremely active attacker with regularly over 100 attacks per season, then you will likely be at a lower league for farming than your peers. I say this because due to the fact you attack so much, you likely have a good base setup for your level as long as you didn't rush your townhall. Your base setup will be able to gain you trophies when you need them. Unlike other players you can see a 200k raid and not worry if you lose or if you win, you will attack for loot regardless of whether it makes you drop a league, or whether it makes you lose 30 trophies.

Somewhat active attacker: if you attack an average amount per season, say around 50-100 attacks. You will likely be farming in a league that has bases that are a bit weaker, but close to your own strength. If you see a 200k raid that makes you lose trophies and drop a league you will likely think twice about attacking it. Losing trophies for you has harsher consequences than for the extremely active attackers so you will likely be in a higher league than them and you likely choose your opponents more carefully.

Not active attacker: If you aren't an active attacker and average under 50 attacks per season then you likely choose your opponents more carefully than most players, you will most likely be in a league where your base is basically equal in strength to the opponents that you face. This is dependent on whether you have a trophy base however, Because if you have a farming base then you will be lower in trophies.
<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">Heroes:<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">Barbarian King: the Barbarian king is available to unlock as a hero in
the game at townhall 7. He can soak up a lot of damage and deal out a lot as
well.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">The Archer Queen: the Archer Queen is available for unlock at townhall
9. She cannot soak up as much damage as the King, but she is a range unit and
if you place her properly behind your army then defenses will not focus on her and she will deal out devastating damage.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">The most common Mistakes I see that inexperienced players make with
regards to heroes<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">:

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">They max them at townhall 7 and or 8. Once your base is good enough
the heroes will start to level up on their own, what I mean by this is:

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">At townhall 7 with the new update you do get a dark elixir drill. However it is pointless to try and
get your king maxed out at level 7 townhall, it is more difficult to get dark elixir
with only one drill. You will progress much faster in the game if you just go to
townhall 8 after your defenses and walls are maxed and then work on upgrading your Barbarian King.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">At townhall 8 you should be able to upgrade your king a few more times due to the fact that you will be able to get two dark elixir drills. By
the time I maxed townhall 8 my king was level 8. This is largely due to the fact
that as soon as I got to townhall 8 I maxed my dark drill to level 3. This is
something I highly recommend. Again there is no point in maxing your king at
townhall 8 because you will make way more dark elixir at townhall 9 then you
ever made at townhall 8 in a fairly short period of time. This is largely due to the fact your dark elixir drills wont be limited to level three, they can be upgraded to level six.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">The most common mistakes with heroes made by experienced players:<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">I see this all the time, the people that attack our war bases, people in
my own clan, everyone does it! <span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">The mistake that players make is that once their barbarian king or queen
reaches at least level 5, they don't know when to rage it. DO NOT RAGE YOUR KING
OR QUEEN BEFORE THEY GET INJURED. When you rage your king or queen the rage not
only makes them more powerful but it heals them as well.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">The second most common mistake I see is hero placement in battle. When
the clan castle troops come out, whatever you do, do not panic and place your
barbarian king, and whatever you do definitely do not place your archer queen. The clan castle troops will take care of your heroes in no time. There are
much better ways to kill clan castle troops. If you are not sure of good ways to lure out the clan castle or take care of the troops have a look at my post on Clan Castles. Not only do players make the mistake of placing heroes before the clan castle troops are taken care of, they also place them at the front of their attacking assault. You should never place your Barbarian King before you place troops like golems, pekkas and giants. This is because your Barbarian King is your strongest attacker and even though he can take a lot of damage, you want to keep the defenses from shooting at him for as long as possible.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">I am sure all of you know that sometimes taking out clan castle
troops can be quite a challenge. I have some little known tips that I almost
guarantee even most experienced players do not know about or they just
forget. When the clan castle is in the middle of the base, sometimes it can be
extremely difficult to draw out the clan castle troops. Some of the best ways I
have learned to take out clan castle troops involve:

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">How to draw them out:<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">Perform a mini attack. what
I mean by this is do not use all your troops at once. This
is one of the most common mistakes that I see, people think they can't get
the clan castle out and so they throw everything down at once and hope for
the best. Instead of this perform a mini attack, attack a loose cannon, or
an archer tower, try and attack one that is out of the range of a mortar
but will get the clan castle troops out after your mini attack is
completed.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">Use hogs, the best thing
about hogs is no matter how strong the walls are they can just jump over
them. this is often a very effective way to get them out of the clan
castle.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">If the clan castle is close
to the outside, you are golden, throw some barbarians or archers down
close to the clan castle and get everything out. (barbarians are often better
at this job because they have more health)

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">Common Mistakes:<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">This is often a players
downfall in an attack, if you have to start throwing dragons, your barbarian king, giants, hogs etc. to kill the clan castle troops then most likely
your attack is doomed to fail.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">When you place ground troops
to take out clan castle troops, make sure that you spread them
out. This is the most common mistake made among all players
in clash of clans, even experienced players make this mistake. If there
are wizards in their clan castle and you place all your wizards or archers
in one spot to take them out, their clan castle wizards will one shot kill
you and then you are left with killing their clan castle by other means:
dragons, giants, etc. and at this point you are doomed to fail.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">I have seen many players
draw the clan castle troops out, only to get them to the edge of the
defense line and then try and take them out. DO NOT DO THIS. Make sure
that you draw the clan castle troops out of the defense line of fire, and
then take care of them.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">The Most effective clan castle killing techniques I have discovered
include:<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">draw out the troops and
surround with archers.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: medium;">

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">draw out the troops throw
some barbarians down at them and then place 2 wizards behind, their troops will take out your barbarians but if you place enough barbarians then your couple of wizards behind will take care of the clan castle troops.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: medium;">

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">Draw out the clan castle
troops, just get them out of the clan castle. You don't even have to bring
them to a corner, just place barbs on either side of the base and get them
to run over top of a defense you want to kill via a lightning spell, then
use the lightning spells and take out the defense and the clan castle
troops at the same time.

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: medium;">

<span style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA;">This next technique I
learned after about 11 months of playing clash of clans, I don't think
many people know about this effective technique. What you do is draw
out the clan castle troops and bring them to a corner, (this technique only works
with ground clan castle troops like wizards, archers, barbarians, valkyrie,
pekkas, etc. but it works best with archers or wizards) make sure that something in their clan castle or a defense
can shoot down an air unit near where you have their clan castle troops
standing. If possible get all the clan castle troops standing on one tile,
(you can use barbarians to do this) place a balloon near them, make sure
it is heading in their direction while at the same time towards the
closest defense (balloons will always go for the closest defense) their
troops will shoot your balloon down and it will crash into them and they will
end up killing themselves. This technique takes a while to master, but I
believe it is one of the most effective ways to kill weaker ground clan castle troops.
