Trophy Guide

Trophy Guide

Knowing When to change leagues is extremely important if you wish to progress faster in the game. If you are not getting good raids you have to decide whether it is worth waiting it out, if your just having bad luck, or if maybe you need to change leagues in order to improve your situation. These are some general guidelines that will hopefully help you decide what league you want to be in.

  • What is the state of your achievements?
If you are close to getting a big achievement for taking out inferno towers, you should probably not be dropping in trophies. Meanwhile if you are close to getting a defenses won achievement then maybe its time to drop a league or two and get those precious gems. Look at the different achievements you are close to achieving and think about which league would get you to those achievements the fastest.

How is your loot Situation?

Are you constantly raking in 200k, 100k, and 150k raids, if so then maybe you want to stay put for a while and rake in the loot. If not then maybe consider moving. As a general guide, at townhall 8 and above I never attacked for anything below 100k loot (both gold and Elixir so 200k total). Decide what is a reasonable minimum for your own circumstances and try to follow your boundaries.

Are you Trophy Pushing or Farming?

If you are farming as a general guideline, go to where bases look similar to your own (townhall and defense wise), and drop a league to a league and a half. This will likely be a spot you can comfortably sit and not have to worry about your opponents three starring your base. Do not be afraid to drop lower than this because once you put back on your trophy base, it will push you back up in trophies.

If you are trophy pushing, you likely do not care as much about loot, watch your elixir levels carefully though because you do not want to run out right when you need it the most.

A small tip you may not know of to save some loot on defenses, is fill up your camps with troops and then queue more troops, when you come back on simply delete them from your barracks and you will get your elixir back. This simple trick can save you quite a bit of elixir and dark elixir over time.
