Beginner Recruiting Guide

Recruiting:
Clash of clans has millions of players around the world so don't get discouraged if you have a small clan right now. It is very easy to recruit new players once you are good enough. If you keep working at it eventually the good players will come to you without you having to try and find them. However, here are some of the successful recruiting techniques that I have used:

  • Do not offer free co to anyone, unless you are giving everyone co. This is due to the fact that if you give co to the wrong person they can kick everyone from the clan.

  • Do not stay in the same global chat, and do not try asking people to merge with you. It hardly ever works and 99% of the time, the person wants you to join their clan.

  • By constantly changing global chats you can get way more people to see your recruiting message, the more people that see the message, the more people that will apply at your clan.

  • If you are on a phone playing Clash of Clans you can set a keyboard shortcut to say your recruiting message, for example you can make it so that when you type "lol" it says "level 20 plus welcome here, must have level 2 Barbarian King and lvl 5 walls." Remember that Supercell does not allow you to repeat the same message twice in a row, it marks it as spam and it doesn't go into the chat. For this reason you may want to create 2 different shortcuts with a slight word change.

  • Get the rest of your clan mates in on the recruiting. The more people you have trying to recruit, the better your results will be.

  • Make sure that you have everything spelled correctly in your clan description, this is a turn off to many good clash of clans players.

  • In your description and recruiting message, state your minimum requirements to join your clan even if it’s on anyone can join, this way people know right away if they want to look at joining your clan or not.
